HRD Minister honors Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh

Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh has added another feather to its cap. Aryans Group has got the award for “Excellence in career building” for its contribution towards the Technical education in its region. The award was given by Dr. Shashi Tharoor, Minister of State for Human Resource Development, India to Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges in a function held today in IHC, New Delhi.

After receiving the prestigious award, Dr Anshu Kataria said that he was honoured to receive this award. He added that earlier also, Aryans Group was awarded for “Excellence in Education” by Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam, Former President; Sh. Parkash Singh Badal, Chief Minister of Punjab; Sh. Shivraj V Patil, the Governor of Punjab and Administrator Chandigarh; Dr. Kiran Bedi, First Women IPS Officer of India; S.Joginder Singh, Ex-Director, CBI etc.

Dr Kataria further stated that Aryans has achieved several milestones in the field of placements last year. He added that last year about 300 companies had visited the job fest and this year about 500 companies are expected to visit the campus during job fest. The group has seen 100 per cent placement of its students and now the group is trying to get students of other colleges get placed with well-known companies.

It is to be mentioned that Aryans Group has grown leaps and bounds since its inception. Established in 2007 with a small Business School, now Aryans Group is running Management College, Engineering College, Education College, Nursing College & Junior Science College (+1 & +2 Non Medical).

It is to be mentioned that the honor was given in AITMC Annual Academia Meet and Award Function in which various eminent personalities participated including Sh. DigVijay Singh, Ex-CM, MP & General Secretary, AICC; Sh. Anurag Thakur, National President BJP(Y) & Hon'ble MP; Ch. Birender Singh, Hon'ble Gen.Sec. AICC & MP.

Earlier also Aryans Business School (ABS) has been ranked 48th in India by Dainik Bhaskar. ABS has also been awarded the best upcoming B-School of North India by the renowned Magazine "Business and Management Chronicle" and Aryans has also been ranked 71st by MBA Universe.com.

It is worth mentioning that Aryans Group is the first Group of the region being promoted by renowned educationists as trustees. Duration of Programme:
2 Years Full-Time Program with four semesters. Each semester would be of approximately five months duration. The Programme shall consist of 25theoretical courses, one-internship (six to eight weeks duration), one comprehensive project report and several industrial visits inbuilt in the programme.

Admission Procedure:
  • The admission in MBA course is as per the Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar.
  • Two third of the total seats (i.e. 40 seats out of 60 seats) to be filled through the PTU counseling and one third seats to be filled by the management out of the management quota.
For management seats due weightage/consideration shall be given to the candidates who have qualified MAT, CAT, XAT or entrance exam conducted by the Punjab Technical University. The ultimate performance of the candidate is judged on the basis of the merit. Merit shall be made on the basis of aggregate of: any Test’s score, percentage in graduation, performance in GD and PI scores.

Eligibility
A candidate must be graduate in any discipline i e. BA , B.Com , B.Sc , BE or graduate in any other profession from a recognized University.

Those awaiting results of Degree examinations may also apply. If proof of graduation is not submitted within the date prescribed by the PTU, there admission will be automatically cancelled without refund of fee.
