Mohali (8th November 2011)

Aryans Group of Colleges today organized "Mega Job Fest" in the Campus i.e. at Village-Nepra (Banur), Chandigarh Patiala Highway. A total of 2746 candidates appear for around 35 companies. The fest was inaugurated by Dr. Anshu kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group. Around 300 gets job in the fest.

Dr. Kataria said that Job Fest helps in promoting employment by creating an opportunity for employers to meet their demands on a common platform. Dr. Kataria further stated that the fest "got an overwhelming response and was fruitful for the students as well" who got an excellent opportunity for a mega placement bonanza even they are freshers.

Dr. Kataria further said that top most national & International companies including Ameliorate, Amical Soft, Aviva India, BSS, Club Mahindra, Competent, CS Infotech, E-Nest technology, GPR Privilege Services, Gulzar Auto, HDFC Bank, IBM, ICRA, IDEA, Intellisense Technology, IntellNet Global, Jet King, Lupin Pharma, MAS services, Mayer Pharma, Money Ambit, Ometa System, Rich infra Developers India, Samsung, Sanofi Aventis, Solitaire Infosys, Spnco, Genpact, Standard Yellow Pages, Svim tech, Tech Mahindra, Tricity Autos, Web Com participated in the fest. Also present on the occasion were Prof. D. C. Kataria, Vice- Chairman; Mrs. Rajni Kataria, Treasurer; Dr. (Mrs.) Parveen Kataria, Director General; Dr. K. K. Mangla , Dr. Manjula Kataria.

It is to be mentioned that that Aryans 20 acre campus is in Village Nepra/Thuha, between Banur & Rajpura, Chandigarh–Patiala highway, near Chandigarh. Aryans Group offers B.Tech, MBA, PGDM, BBA, BCA and B.Ed.


Chandigarh 15th July 2011

A total of 635 candidates were shortlisted in Mega Job Fest organized by Aryans Group of Colleges at PHD Chamber, Sector-31 Chandigarh today. More than 2500 candidates from Tricity, J&k, Himachal, Haryana & Punjab participated in the fest.

Giving this information, Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group told that top most national & International companies including Wipro, Havells, Reliance, Club Mahindra, Aeromatrix, Advance Technologies, Red alkemi, Span engineers, micro turners, Knack System, Agilyst ,KFC, India Mart, Ionnor , Smart Data, altruist, Maruti Suzuki & its. Dealerships etc, participated in the fest.

Dr. Kataria added that we have started engineering college this year & four more Job Fests would be organized in current academic session by Aryans College of Engineering (ACE). The group would target to provide jobs to around 2000 engineering & 500 MBA students. For this we have started contacting the Companies those who have heavy manpower requirement in this current financial year.

Dr. D.P. Singh, Director, Aryans Group said that Recruitment drive shall help students from far flung areas also where few campus recruitment drives happen. Such job fests bring industry and skilled human resources at a single platform to fulfill the demand.


Mohali (6th May 2011)

makemytrip.com today visited Aryans Group of Colleges. It selected 7 MBA students during the campus placement drive organized at the college campus at Vill. Nepra, Chandigarh-Patiala highway, near Chandigarh. Mr. Sushil Verma, Head (Life Marker Channel), interviewed the candidates for placement.

A pre-placement talk was held in which Mr. Sushil addressed the students and answered their queries. While addressing students, he said, that Company offers attractive salary with incentives. The talk was followed by Group Discussion (GD) and the Personal interview.

Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group congratulated the selected students and said that the reason behind this success is strong academic base & conduction of regular classes with interactive sessions. It not only provide them valuable practical experience, but also help them unravel their core capabilities; thus preparing them to make sound career decisions, he added further.

Chandigarh based Aryans Group of Colleges (AGC) has decided to launch massive awareness campaign for the students. The camp would aim at to aware students about various courses, colleges, streams, eligibility criteria, fees structure, job opportunity etc. Aryans Group would be organizing a series of 20 career counseling camps at the various places in the region. The 4 career counseling Camp will be organized in college campus, Vill. Nepra, Chandigarh-Patiala highway, Near Banur and the remaining camps will be organized in J&K (2), Himachal Pradesh (2) Uttar Pradesh (2), Haryana (2), Bihar (2), Jharkhand (2), Rajasthan (2) and Assam (2). Since last 4 years, Aryans Group doing this activity and this would be the 5th time that this campaign is being launched.

Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group said that such an initiative is taken keeping in mind that the student's especially rural students after passing out of 10+2/ graduation are not much aware about the career opportunities available to them. It is to be mentioned here that last year also, Aryans Group had organized such a career counseling camp series for the students of the region in which over 5,000 students had participated. Aryans Group is offering full time regular courses of MBA, PGDM, BBA, BCA & B.Ed. The Group is also coming with B.Tech and Nursing courses from this session. All courses are approved/ affiliated with concerned regulatory authority/university including AICTE, Ministry of HRD, New Delhi/UGC/Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar/Punjab Government.
