India to become one of the biggest cashless Economy in the World:-Experts


With the demonetization on 500 and 1000 rupee notes, soon India would emerge as one of the biggest cash less economy in the World in coming years. Not only this with a whopping 51% annual growth, India's E-Commerce revenue is expected to jump from USD 30 billion in 2016 to USD 120 billion in 2020, growing at an annual rate of 51%, the highest in the world beating China, Japan, South Korea etc.
Nearly 3,50,000 staff already working under E-commerce business industry, India's E-Commerce Sector would likely to generate nearly 2.5 lakhs jobs in the online retail in the next year including temporary employees, supply chain, logistics, ancillary units etc.
This was said by various online & E-Commerce Industry experts from Amazon, Paytm, Woxa-Technologies etc while interacting with over 3000 Job Seekers in 39th Aryans Job Fest held today at Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura. Over 245 Candidates have got shortlisted out of in one day Job Fest by over 56 Companies.
Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group said, “Through this job fair we aim to open exciting career avenues to the youth of Punjab and other States, while making fresh talent available to the industry. Students aspiring for an exciting career in IT can look forward to interacting directly with leading companies at the same place during this fest.”
B.S Sidhu, Registrar, Aryans Group commenting on the occasion said that apart from Amazon and Paytm; Seo Discovery, Eiti Appin, Estreet IT, JSR Technologies, 9I Tech,Outline System, Health Pulse, Vault up, Goteso, Ambersoft, Aturs Enterprises, Angel broking, Amar Hospital, Arnav info soft, WebTek Labs Pvt. Ltd, Shaljon etc were the prominent companies where heavy rush was witnessed. The average salary offered was between 1.25 lacs per annum to 4 lacs per annum.
Students from various Colleges/Universities including Patel Memorial Colleges; RIMT; DAV College, Ambala; Guru Jamdheshwar University, Hisar; College of Engineering Roorkee; Ludhiana Group of Colleges, Kurukshetra University; Punjabi University, Patiala etc participated in the fest.


Over 150 candidates get shortlisted by 15 companies in the 38th Aryans Job Fest


Over 150 candidates have got shortlisted by around 15 companies in the 38th Aryans Job Fest held today at Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura. The fest witnessed over 1500 walk-ins from different parts of the country.
Congratulating and thanking all the candidates and participating companies, Dr. Anshu Kataria said that Punjab has become the hub of education and now is emerging as the hottest job markets in India. With huge hiring requirements, the job fest would facilitate recruitment and enable jobseekers to fulfill their aspirations and meet the need of today’s Industry.
The fest witnessed job seekers from various parts of the North India. Of the total number of participants, 60% of the job seekers were at the fresher level, 25% at mid management and 10% at senior level. It was a multi-industry job fest, with participating companies from IT, ITES, Education, Medical and Manufacturing among others.
Prof. B.S Sidhu, Registrar, Aryans Group commenting on the occasion said that Gurudev Group of Services and Intersoft hired ECE Candidates was the prominent company offering highest salary package upto 4 lacs per annum. Heavy rush was also witnessed in the companies like Spanx Infotech, Policy bazar, Ecove solution, Blue Chip, Platinum Infosys, All India Reporter, Live Satyam, eClerx, Exide Life Insurance, Scope Telecom, Gitsein Technologies, Snowmicro Technologies, ,Arn Infotel, NIIT IFBI, Kietron Ltd etc hired Civil, Mechanical, IT students and offered package up to 2.75 lacs.
Students from various Colleges/Universities including D.A.V Yamunanagar, RIMT, SUS Tangori; SVIET, Baba Banda Singh Bahadur, Beant College, Guru Gobind Singh College, Surya world, AIMT Ambala, CGC Landran, UMIT; GNDU Amritsar; Chitkara University; Panjab University, Punjabi University Patiala, Chandigarh University etc participated in the fest.
Recruiters and participants were enthusiastic about the response to the fest. Over 250 candidates get shortlisted by 28 companies in the 37th Aryans Job Fest


37th Aryans Job Fest brought a bouquet of jobs as over 250 candidates were got selected by 28 companies at the job fest held today at Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh. The fest witnessed over 1200 walk-ins from different parts of the country. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges inaugurated the job fest.

30+ Companies to visit Aryans for 36th Job Fest on 30th June


More than 30 leading companies from various sectors including Idea Foundation, Bharti Exa, Megrisoft, Sigma Solutions, IDS Group, leading Radio Channel of the Country and others from IT, ITES, Education, Medical and Manufacturing have been confirmed for 36thAryans Job Fest to be held on 30th June at Aryans Campus situated on Chandigarh-Patiala Highway, near Chandigarh. In this fest, job opportunities would be available for B.Tech, MBA, BBA, BCA, BA, B.Com, M.Tech, Diploma, ITI etc. He further said that candidates need to carry 10 copies of their resumes and passport size photographs with them. Sidhu further said that in India, the number of unemployed educated youth is the highest. Thus such job fests provide the youth with great job opportunities. He also said that in Punjab itself, huge job opportunities are available but there is always a gap between job seeker and job provider. Thus Aryans always tries to bridge this gap.
Sidhu added that the one day fest will witness participation from leading companies that are looking to engage with prospective employees. The fair will give an opportunity to final year students and fresh graduates from all streams to access career options available in various leading organizations under one roof. The students will also get an opportunity to evaluate if their existing skill sets match up to the industry requirements.
It is to be mentioned that Aryans has achieved several milestones in the field of placements last year. He added that last year about 700 companies had visited the job fest and this year more than 700 companies are expected to visit the campus during job fest. The group has seen 100 per cent placement of its students and now the group is trying to get students of other colleges placed with well-known companies.


Out of 24 only 5 colleges to get approval for 2016-17:-Dean, Punjabi University


Total 24 Trusts/Societies have applied for the approval of new Colleges under Punjabi University, Patiala for the academic session 2016-17 out of which only 5 Trusts/Societies have fulfilled the requirements as per the norms of the University. Other 19 Trusts/Societies who haven’t fulfilled Government/University norms would not be permitted to start their new colleges from 2016-17 This was said by Dean, Punjabi University, Patiala, Sh. Kulbir Singh Dhillon during the media interaction while inaugurating 35th Aryans Job Fest at Aryans Group of Colleges today. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group was also present on the occasion. Dr. Dhillon further said that colleges have to fulfill all the norms regarding land, Building, change of Land use, Building Plan faculty, library etc. Any college who do not fulfill 100% of the conditions would not be considered for approval in the year 2016-17.
On the other hand around 28 companies from various sectors visited Aryans 35th Job Fest for the recruitment drive in which more than 1200 students from tricity, Punjab and other parts of North India participated and around 236 candidates got shortlisted in the Fest. Heavy rush was witnessed in the companies like DSC- Sicochem Pvt Ltd offering 5 lakh. Companies including Gurudev Group of services Pvt Ltd, Axtria Infratech Pvt Ltd, Vismaad Labs, ITM-Edutech Training Pvt Ltd, Luminous, Diya Gas also attracted the crowd towards themselves. Registrar, Aryans Group, Prof B.S Sidhu said that India has the largest population of youth in the world with about 66% of the population under the age of 35. This year the numbers of vacancies and packages have improved from previous years. He further urged the candidates to compete and make proper use of their skills to grab these opportunities.

Aryans 33rd Job Fest witnessed record 100 Companies in a single day


Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh today created a new history in the field of placements where more than 100 companies and over 2500 students from different parts of North India came to participate in 33rd Aryans Job Fest at Aryans Campus.
Honda was the prominent company which pulled maximum crowd towards itself. Heavy rush was also witnessed in the companies like Cogniter Technologies Pvt Ltd, Platinum Infosys, Volkswagen,Indus Bank, Dinker, Hyundai, SEBIZ, ABEERTECH, The perfection, TMC shipping, Indusland, GM Plaza, Genpact, Rayon, Frisklancer, Gurudev, Shaljon, Bani Mil Producer etc. The maximum package offered was upto 9 lacs per annum.

On this occasion Sh. Dharam Pal Gupta, IAS, Director Technical Education, Punjab congratulated team Aryans and said that placement is the backbone of any educational institution without which no campus can satisfy the dreams of its students and hopes of their parents.
