Over 114 candidates get shortlisted by 24 companies in the 42nd Aryans Job Fest


Continuing its efforts towards placement drives, 42nd Aryans Job Fest was today conducted at Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh. Over 114 candidates have got selected by over 24 companies from various sectors including IT, ITES, BPO, Health Care, Banking, Insurance etc participated in the fest. Over 1200 candidates came from various parts of North India in the job fest. The company representatives interacted with the students over the different job profiles, skills required, competition in the market, Job scenario etc before the process. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group said that apart from theoretical knowledge students should focus on personality development, gaining skills, practical know how, short term skill based courses etc to meet the requirement of the growing and changing modern industry and technology. Prof. B.S Sidhu, Registrar, Aryans Group commenting on the occasion said that Raksha Group and I Server Admin Pvt Ltd were the prominent companies offering salary package upto 5 lacs per annum. Heavy rush was also witnessed in the companies like Bluechip computer systems, TecHindustan Solutions, Canvas Overseas, Ragasoft Solutions, Essline Engineers, Platinum Infosys, Smrita Nursing Home, Mtech Informatics, Web Tunix etc also hired MBA, Nursing, Web Designers, B.Tech (ECE) etc candidates. Students from various Colleges/Universities including Bharat Group, Mansa; D.A.V Yamunanagar; RIMT Mandi Gobingarh; SUS Tangori; SVIET, Banur; Baba Banda Singh Bahadur, Beant College, Guru Gobind Singh College, Surya world, AIMT Ambala; UMIT; Panjab University, Punjabi University Patiala etc participated in the fest.


To benefit over 70,000 Technical students of 110 colleges, MRS-PTU tied up with Google: Vice Chancellor


Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRS-PTU), Bathinda has done tie up with the Google for the students of 110 Colleges of 11 districts lying under its jurisdiction. With this tie up 70,000 students studying under various technical courses would be benefitted as per the need of the industry. Google will give training to the faculty and the students for developing Android Applications. Along with this MRS-PTU has also signed MoU with Red Hat.Linux and Systems Applications Product (SAP) to upgrade the students with latest industrial curriculum.

This was said by Dr. Mohan Paul Singh Isher, Vice Chancellor, MRS-PTU during the inaugural ceremony of 41st Aryans Job Fest as the Chief Guest held at Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh. Dr. JS Hundal, Registrar, MRS-PTU was the Guest of Honour on the occasion while Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group presided over the function. Out of nearly 3500 walk-ins from all over the North India, around 315 candidates were got shortlisted by over 55 companies in the one day long fest.

Isher further said that the technology is changing every minute but the syllabi of the technical courses are not being changed for years, so to bridge this gap between academics and industry needs, the University has started with additional training workshops with The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) wherein 2 pool campus placement drives would be conducted in Bathinda University.

Dr. J.S Hundal while speaking on the occasion said that layoffs and Global crisis fail to stop the renowned brands of International Market. The colleges who are putting their efforts in keeping their students upgraded with the latest technology are not facing problems in getting their students placed in good companies.

Companies including 3 Afterdoor Solutions , Exide Life Insurance Company Limited, Raksha Group , Soft Prodigy System Solutions Pvt Ltd., ToXSL Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Trs Group, MindVis India, Million user, Arnav soft, Eklavya Associates, Rooman Technologies pvt Ltd etc were the prominent companies offering salary packages upto 6 lacs per annum.

Students from various Colleges/Universities including Patel Memorial Colleges (Rajpura); RIMT (Mandi Gobindgarh); DAV College (Ambala); SVIET (Banur); Gurukul (Banur) Dev Samaj College (Ferozpur); Guru Jamdheshwar University (Hisar); College of Engineering (Roorkee); Ludhiana Group of Colleges, Kurukshetra University; Punjabi University (Patiala) etc participated in the fest.

Over 250 candidates shortlists by over 25 companies in 40th Aryans Job Fest


Top recruiters including Paytm, Pumpkart along with 25 more companies today participated in 40th Aryans Job Fest held at Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh. Over 250 candidates got shortlisted by over 25 companies out of over 2500 walk-ins in the fest.
"Paytm had added 20 million new customers since the Government's move to demonetize old Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes and proportionality the ratio of new recruitments have got increased" while started with just Rs 20,000 in 1998 and grown upto Rs 30-35 cr the largest online pump store in India-Pumpkart has shifted their approach to Technology, Digitalization and e-commerce. This was quoted by the company representatives while addressing the students.

B.S Sidhu, Registrar, Aryans Group while congratulating and motivating the students said that in the competitive world, you need to be agile and smart and move forward. He further said that with huge hiring requirements, this job fest would facilitate recruitment and enable jobseekers to fulfill their aspirations and meet the need of today's Industry.
